About SUE Rising
SUE Talks Rising is a speaking competition for middle school and high school youth. Coaching is provided to participants interested in preparing a 6 minute, rehearsed and memorized talks to their peers, parents, faculty/staff and the community. Each ‘talker’ will compete for an academic scholarship.
Each SUE Riser will benefit from:
Confidence in writing
Learned skill of public speaking
Delivering an influential talk
Expert coaching for each SUE Riser: thirty minutes per week, for a minimum of 6 weeks
