The Foundation For Women Warriors is showing support for Women’s History Month with short blog posts on women who have served in our military as the “First Women” to serve in each branch of the military.
Learn more about Deborah Sampson the first woman to serve in the US Army, Opha May Johnson the first woman to serve in the United States Marine Corps Reserve and Loretta Perfectus Walsh the first woman to enlist in the United States Naval Reserve in 1917.
