Our goal in hosting live events and recording our SUE Rising Talks is to create talks that inspire change. We ask all our presenters to commit to the process of developing and giving a phenomenal SUE Rising Talk.What SUE Rising Talks will do for you is provide an incredible opportunity for you to showcase your stories and experiences via a live event and virtual broadcast. In addition, your SUE Rising Talk will be recorded and available on You Tube for you to share and for us to share online. We also have optional photo and video package offerings for you to capture your experience on stage. SUE Rising will also be able to provide mentorship opportunities and other programs after you complete your SUE Rising Talks journey.Our SUE Rising Board and SUE Talks Coaches commit to providing you the very best coaching support we can provide. Our SUE Talks coaches are all past SUE Talks presenters who have been through the experience of developing and giving a SUE Talk on stage. They know exactly what you will be going through, as they’ve done it! My Commitment and Agreement:*I will develop, write, and script out my SUE Rising Talk with the support and advice from my SUE Rising Coaches. I understand that my SUE Rising Talk needs to be rehearsed, polished and memorized for the live event. I further understand there will be no notes, no slides, no teleprompter and no props on stage. I understand how important the visual storytelling is to my SUE Rising Talk and how important painting a picture with words are key for the live performance.I agree to commit to a schedule of supportive online zoom sessions and calls with my assigned SUE Rising Talks coach and/or coaches, all who are volunteering their time in support of getting the very best out of me. I will commit and make myself available for these scheduled sessions and will show up on time and be ready for each session in the weeks preceding the live event.I will make arrangements to block my calendar and be available from 1pm on for the day of the live event where I understand there will be a stage and mic check, including an entire run through for each presenter, etc.I will be able to drive to the event location (Location TBD) or have transportation to the event.I agree to provide a written word document of my SUE Rising Talk prior to the live event.I agree to attend two 15-minute video rehearsals of my SUE Rising Talk with our SUE Rising Board to “green light” me as ready for the live event. I further understand these are typically held on Sunday afternoons.I understand that bowing out or cancelling after being selected as a SUE Rising Talks presenter will create a severe hardship to SUE Rising and SUE Talks as an organization and I do not take lightly this commitment to develop and present my SUE Rising Talk.
