Join us today for Women Lead Radio as Joanie Connell, your host of REAL Life Lessons, interviews Rose Hagan, Owner & Artist at Serendipity Gallery, LLC.
Rose Hagan, describes herself as a gallery owner and artist as well as a recovering lawyer—a retired managing counsel of trademarks at Google, no less.
Have you ever thought about scrapping your traditional career and following your passion in art or something crazy like that? It sounds impossible, but it’s not. What it takes is courage, resilience, flexibility, and independence.
Rose Hagan began her career as a lawyer before pivoting to pursue her love of art. After attending Stanford University and Harvard Law School, she practiced as an intellectual property attorney at law firms in Silicon Valley and Austin, Texas before joining Google as its first trademark attorney. After 7 wonderful years at Google, she retired from law to pursue a career in art. Rose works with paint, digital media, and fused glass to create vibrant artwork inspired by nature. She is the owner of Serendipity Gallery in St. Louis, MO and is one of the co-chairs of Gallery House in Palo Alto.
